We made it!!! We are staying tonight and tomorrow night in Kostroma. Atlanta was hilarious as dave got us all into the 'inner sanctium' of the delta crown room, we will hit the free drinks on the way back! Then he did a 'shim dance' for us and i learned that a shim is a metal plate to fill in gaps. For example we could use some at tables in the coffee bar at church.
Dave has slept during every down moment, and now he is yawning again! He says he was just resting his eyes, sounding like my dad, but Lorna strikes back 'but your mouth was open'! He says he's slept about 8 hours, we say it is a minimum of 8 hours! But so the drunk dude in front of us would stop talking to us, we all faked a little sleep!
Our biggest frustration so far has been Dave and I with our iPods soooo the first 'day' has gone great! It is about 2 pm thurs your time and we are just now going bed for the first time! Lorna is relieved we are here FINALLY and we are anxious to get to the Kirov region and see the actual orphanges we will sponsor! Keep praying that God will rock this trip!
