Home at last...

We are home...despite relatively minor issues in Atlanta. We had only about an hour and a half between flights, and the Moscow flight was late...a lot late. I haven't run that much in an airport since the fall trip of 2005 when we got to our counter and they had already given our seats away to standbys. Well...last night...we disappointed some standbys! YEAH!

When you land in Atlanta from abroad you have to to through customs, get your bags, recheck your bags, go BACK through security THEN head to your terminal! By the complete grace of God, our terminal was the one we come up after all of that hoopla. So we ran, sounded like we had asthma and ran some more. I definitely need to start working out again! And I think the people behind us may have thought we'd brought a dangerous, foreign, contagious disease back.

My parents, and Dave & Lorna's families all met us at the airport. We were glad to see familiar faces, although tired. However, I wasn't too tired that I wasn't hungry. Our last meal on the Moscow flight was, in my view, crappy...but in Lorna's view - delicious! So I handed mine over and she polished off both of our bread with vegetables and cheese. I was so ready for American food, good, yummy American food! My parents GRACIOUSLY waited to eat and we headed to Mimi's Cafe at Zona Rose. I LOVE their Parmesan chicken, and last night - it was ESPECIALLY yummy!

After an excellent night's sleep I am trying to tackle e-mails - AHHHHH!!! And am looking forward to seeing my Club 56 kids tonight! Hopefully they were on their best behavior last week while I was gone! Lorna??? Dave??? How ya doin???
