We are so ready to head out tomorrow morning! Dave even reread his journal from his last orphange trip! Lorna can barely contain herself she is so excited! And I - preppin' for the adventure - am making sure my iPod is fully loaded, heaven forbid I be without my music! We met last night and sorted out bags and traded last minute thoughts. We are all thinking along the same lines...please, Lord, let us agree! Not necessarily most important, but definitely at the forefront of our minds is that we all want to feel a pull to the same orphanage. We will spend 2 days at one, then 2 days at another, and we know there will be kids that we feel drawn to at both...BUT we really want to all easily agree on ONE! We are so excited to be a part of this team and representing Woods Chapel! We hope to do ya'll proud! But more importantly, we hope everyone has us prayer covered...so here are the specifics...
- Have safe travels to Russia and throughout the country.
- Be FLEXIBLE the ENTIRE time, we have an adventure ahead of us.
- Allow the Holy Spirit to guide us.
- Discern where Christ would have us be in the Kirov Region.
- Have a clear direction, and know without a doubt which orphanage to sponsor.
- Be at peace with a decision.
